http://www.healthfinder.gov/ - Healthfinder is your guide to reliable health information sponsored by the Office of Disease Prevention & Health Promotion. Site features drug database, newsletter, provider/facility lookup, etc.
http://www.health.gov/nhic/ - The National Health Information Center is a site listing organizations that help people with specific conditions.
http://medlineplus.gov/ - This medical library's coolest feature are their interactive tutorials which educate the public on a myriad of topics. They also have an encyclopedia featuring pictures and diagrams, and dictionary of medical terms.
http://www.familydoctor.org/ - Sponsored by the American Academy of Family Physicians this website helps educate the recipients on the health services they receive as well as providing information on conditions.
http://www.aafp.org/ - The website of American Academy of Family Physicians is more geared to doctors.

http://www.medicinenet.com - comprehensive healthcare content produced by practicing physicians for the general public.
http://www.webmd.com - extensive health news and information, along with communities related to health issues.
http://www.mayoclinic.com/ - Run by the not-for-profit Mayo Clinic. Offers a number of health tools for consumers as well as a wealth of health information. Has a user friendly feel for consumers.
http://www.medem.com/ Use this site to create an "iHealth Record" that you can print and carry with you. A great tool to make sure your various doctors are aware of all your conditions and medications. Create one for loved ones you care for as well.
http://www.mdchoice.com - Peer reviewed health articles geared towards both consumers and professionals.
http://www.healthy.net/ - Information is provided through a medical director and advisory board. Large amount of information relating to alternative medicine.
